Yuzuru Hanyu ‘REALIVE’ an ICE STORY project in Saga Live Viewing

On Sunday, November 29, 2026, the Saga performance of “Yuzuru Hanyu ‘REALIVE’ an ICE STORY project” to be held at SAGA Arena (Saga Prefecture), will be broadcast live to cinemas in Japan and overseas.
After going pro as a figure skater in 2022, Yuzuru Hanyu become the executive producer for his ICE STORY ice show series. For the initial work in the series, ”Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 2023 ‘GIFT,’” he became the first figure skater to perform at Tokyo Dome. Since then, through shows including “RE_PRAY” and “Echoes of Life,” he has continued to explore the meaning of living and life, creating unique artistic experiences that bring together figure skating, music, video, and lighting.
Building on these previous productions, “REALIVE” brings programmes from throughout his career back to life through Hanyu’s performances as he is today. The project opened in April 2026 in Miyagi, Hanyu’s home prefecture, leaving a lasting impression on audiences with performances that could only exist in those particular moments.
Following the enthusiastic response, an encore run has been announced in Saga, a new location for the show. The second day’s performance will be broadcast live to cinemas in Japan and overseas.
A special live show connecting the legacy of ICE STORY with a new story yet to unfold. Experience “REALIVE,” executive produced by Hanyu and directed by MIKIKO, on the big screen!
